I had great plans to be in bed at a reasonable hour tonight. As you can tell by the time code on this post, it is not a reasonable hour and I am not in bed.
Insomnia and I are not strangers. In fact, I have always been a night-owl. It used to be the norm that I would be up until 3am nightly, get about 4 hours of sleep, and have a full and productive day. Sadly at my age now, that is no longer an option. The older I get, it seems the more sleep my body requires.
One positive note on not being able to sleep is that it gives me time to clean out the DVR.
