In my family we have actually made it a habit to do a fresh reinstall of Windows every now and then. The PCs which are used most are reinstalled approximatly once every second or third month and the other ones about once each year.

This really shouldn&#039;t be needed, of course, but it became a habit after we noticed the boost of speed a fresh installation brings you. Now the reinstallation is actually quite fun to do, and we usually have Windows up and running again with all the most used applications up-to-date in within two hours from the time the Windows disc was inserted.

A tip is to upgrade and try out Windows 7 which is soon released unto the market. Windows 7 is supposed to be faster and more stable than both XP and Vista and I&#039;m amazed after I&#039;d tried out the beta and the RC release.</description>
