We are in day 3 of what has to be the earliest heat wave in memory. It’s been in the 90s for the past 2 days, and we’re almost there now, holing currently at 88.6 degrees. What’s so bad about this? First off, it’s April. April people! Secondly, I was in New York on Thursday, and I saw flurries there. That’s right, goddamn snow. We literally went from 50s and 60s last week, to 30s on Thursday, 60s on Friday, and then 90s on Saturday, Sunday, and now Monday. WTF?
Today is supposed to be the last of the heat if you believe the weathermen. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the low to mid 80s, and then on Wednesday, we’re back down to the more seasonal 60s.
A quick story for you. Last night at 10:00pm, it was 92.2 degrees in our bedroom. That was with both windows open and the ceiling fan on high. I finally broke down and put an air conditioner in the window. Granted, my biggest reason (no pun intended) was my pregnant wife. I have never, ever, out an air conditioner in so early.
That’s it, I’m done ranting and raving. Besides, my keys are starting to melt off my keyboard…
