Well, it’s snowing like a mo-fo right now, but I don’t think it’s going to last too long. According to The Weather Channel, we’re only supposed to get up to 1 inch today. But, given that the largest snowfall we’ve had this winter was about an inch, I’ll take it!

It’s so refreshing to look outside and see snow falling. Foe the longest time I was getting worried since it was the middle of January and we hadn’t seen a flake yet. Right now that big, puffy flakes are falling, that make it look like something out of a movie. These are the day I enjoy spending on the computer. You work for a while starring at your screen, and then you look out and see sweet sweet snow falling. Why can’t we get like 16 inches so I don’t have to go to work tomorrow??

I got my level 11 in WoW about 15 minutes ago. Now that I have achieved that, it’s time to do some web work for i/o Computers. Gotta keep that balance of work / play you now. At least that’s what I’ve heard your supposed to do anyway.

For the first time in a long time last night, I did stuff that I wanted to do. I worked on my computer for a bit cleaning up and organizing the massive amounts of files that have collected on my desktop. After that I did some research and mock-ups for some new site layouts I’ve been thinking about. And then, for the first time in almost a month, I played World of Warcraft for almost 3 hours. I’ve got to tell you, is felt really good.

I’m off to the gym as soon as my waffles come out of the toaster, and after that, it’s back here for another me day. I gained a level in WoW last night, and I’m almost to my next level. My goal today is to try and gain at least 2 more level. So, by the time I finally have to retire to my sleep chamber, my human warrior should be at level 13. Yes I know–level 13 after having the game for almost a month is quite sad and pathetic and I agree with you. But, I just can’t seem to find the time to play sometimes.

This is one of the things that I hope will change in the New Year!

Well, I’m off to my waffles, then sweating and rocking out to my iPod at the gym, and then finally, back here to run around with my warrior and kill some stuffs.

Tonight is my computer night. One way or another, I am doing something I haven’t done in weeks which is spending the entire night on the computer getting some stuff done. I’ve got TiVo recording all the shows I would normally be watching, and everything else can wait.

What I’m working on right now is some new ideas for a new layout for the site. As much as I used to like the layout of this site, it has become a bit too constrictive as of late. I find myself looking and it and saying, ‘I need more room!’. So, that is the goal of the next design. I’ve been looking at some of my old designs, and some websites that have elements that I really like, and I think that if I take a little bit of this and a little bit of that, I will come up with something that I think I will be happy with. At least, that the theory.

I also want to make more time to post. I was on quite a good streak there for a while, and then I just stopped again for a few weeks. Granted that since getting the puppy and my promotion it seems like I have no free time, but in the end, I need to make time. It may be a lame thing to say, but now that I have a TiVo, I think I’ll have a lot more time to dedicate to my online stuff. Before Jess, I didn’t have cable for 5 years. I had gotten totally used to not watching TV at all and spending all my time on the computer. When I did turn on my TV it was to either watch a DVD or play a video game. But now that I have had cable since May, I have turned into a TV junkie. With TiVo, I’m hoping to streamline my watching but not only being more selective, but also I can watch the shows on my computer and fast forward through the commercials — always a bonus!!

Well, I’m heading back into Photoshop and my Wordpad with some random CSS in it. Later….

I’ve got 8 or so more hours of work until I have 3 glorious days off in a row. Included in that is a nice 3 hour + district meeting. Also, if I’m anywhere close to my hours for the week after the meeting…I’m gone!!!

Not dead yet. Just super busy.

I’ll post more towards the weekend. I just felt bad for not posting for almost 2 weeks.

I’m tired right now, but just wanted to make a quick post. Tomorrow, er, today is going to be a busy day. I’m taking JP to the gym in the morning so he can check it out. I plan on doing my normal workout, so we’ll be there for at least 45 minutes. After that, it’s lunch somewhere, and then we’re going to be working on a website we’re doing. After that, I do believe it’s going to be some Raven Shield action.
