The cool weather had lingered into today with a bonus…NO RAIN! So, that means that I can finally cut my grass. In fact, I just got done putting together a new playlist on my iPod to jam to while cutting my yard. Even though it’s nice and cool out, I think I may change into some shorts to really enjoy the weather. I may not, but I may.

Tonight should be a nice quiet night. I think we’re going to go over some wedding stuff, and then I may sneak off and play some Raven Shield for a while. And, if JP isn’t doing anything (more than likely), I’ll try and rope him into a few games online.

For now though, I’m off to cut my grass and listen to some tunes. Later…

I took a picture of Luna on my desk over the weekend, and I just transferred it onto the computer tonight. When I looked at it, the picture seemed oddly familiar. The picture resembles a picture I took of Lola from back in March of 2005 when we first got her. Weird…

Today was dark, grey, and cool by August standards…totally remincient of fall! I know we’re still a good 3-4 weeks away from my favorite season, but I can’t wait! This year is really going to kick ass. We have my birthday, the wedding, a honeymoon that includes trips to D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, and the Renisance Faire. On after all of that, it’s Halloween!!!

Just a few more weeks…

We got out engagement photos on Friday. I have to say that I am pleased with the way they all turned out.

Here is our “official” engagement picture that is getting sent to all the papers this week.

We had some poses printed up as well. Once I saw the color poofs, I saw a pose which I really had wished we had made up. Well, when I went to pick them up, that had made 3 extra sheets of prints, ironically with the picture that I just wished we had printed. So, here is that pic.

I’ve been spending the past few nights going through a ton of files on all my computers trying to organize them and getting rid of some useless crap. You see, back when I was on dial-up, if something took me more than 2 minutes to download, I archived it somewhere on my network. So, having copies of programs that are literally 5 years old does me no good.

Going through all these files have yielded some pretty amazing discoveries. I found some screenshots of my desktop from 2002, pics that I had forgotten I had, and some videos that down right frightened me. Hell, I even found some old store shcedules that I made when I was assistant manager of EB back in 2000! Strange shit…

I know I haven’t made a real post in forever, but things have been hectic. Hell, I probably wouldn’t be making this if I hadn’t called off today. As much as I would love to tell you today was a mental health day, alas it was not. I tried a new burger at Red Robin last night and it did not like me. At all. In fact, I still don’t feel 100%, but since I’m at about 98% right now, that’s good enough for me. Plus, tomorrow is Friday and I have the weekend off. Good enough for me!

Speaking of tomorrow, I’m going after work to pick up our engagement photos. I’ll be sure to scan one in over the weekend so everyone can check it out. I posted the low-res color proofs over at my moblog, so if you’re impatient, or see what all ofthem look like, feel free to head over there.

I think that’s about it for right now. I would post some more but I am in the middle of a few things right now. I am going to try and post more, well, real posts anyway, and a little less wallpapers. Well, see….

I had ambition this morning when I woke up. Then I went to the bathroom and it all left me. Serisouly.

I had planned to make today a saemi-work day around the house, but to be honest, it’s damn nice just hanging out, watching some TV, and getting some work done on the computer. Considering I really didn’t even touch my computer at all last week, I think I am entitled to 1 day of doing whatever I want. So…I am.

Although I don’t think I am going to waste the whole day. Probably after dinner once it starts to cool down a bit I’m probably going to go out and cut the grass. But until then, I have a date with the ‘Mythbusters: Jaws Special’ that’s coming on at 2pm considering I fell alseep during it on Wednesday night. Fair is fair in my book!

Even though there have been wallpapers posted on a semi-regular basis, I didn’t realize until this morning that I actually haven’t made a post since July 16th. Believe me, if they found a way to add an extra 10 hours into each day, I think I would finally have enough time to post as often as I would like.

Things have been good lately, if not very hectic. It seems that “free time” is something that I may not see for sometime. True, I did block off this weekend to do nothing, but this is the first time I have gotten a chance to do this since my vacation a month ago. Between working 9 hours a day at my full time job, then helping run i/o Computers with JP, and helping run the cemetery, plus getting things ready for the wedding…it’s a rather full life right now. Let me see if I can do a quick recap….

Last weekend JP and I re-oragnized the shop. I got a lot of parts from my future brother-in-law Steph, and when we started to unpack the boxes, we quickly realized that we had no room to store it. So, we were off to Sam’s Club and bought 2 nice metal racks that each have 18 plastic storage bins. Add to that a nice P-Touch machine for labeling, and now our office is all organized an stuff. Very nice…

Kelly came up for 2 days this week. It was really nice to see her again. We mostly hung out and laughed, watched some movies and TV, and went out to dinner Friday night at the always excellent Texas Roadhouse.

The kittens are getting huge and very, very active. What’s really cute about them is that their individual personalities are really starting to come out now. I’ve never been in a multi-cat environment until I moved in with Jess, and it’s really cool how they interact with each other. If we had a bigger house, I would love to keep all the kittens. But sadly, 2 of them have to be given away. I think we may have a taker for one, which means one is still up for grabs. Buy now, pay never!

Almost everything for the wedding is set except for the photographer (I keep meaning to call him) and a lot of little odds and ends. The inviatations went out about 2 weeks ago, and the replies are coming in as we speak. It should be interesting to see how many people are actually going to come.

Jess and I finally finished watching seaon 2 of Lost last night. Man this is going to suck having to wait another month+ to see what happens. Just when you think you have things figured out, they throw a freakin’ twist in there to blow your mind. Like what the hell us up with the statue’s foot with only 4 toes??

Well, I thought I had a lot more to write about then I actually did right now. The oen thing I will say is that I got a rather lazrge influx of wallpapers these past few weeks so expect pretty much a new wallpaper per day for quite some time. In fact, I have the next 12 days already pre-posted. So for you wallpaper fans, you’re in luck!

As for me, I think I may actually go outside and enjoy this beautiful weather that seems to have befallen us. Until then, later…
