This past week or so has been literally the week from HELL! Work has been getting worse and worse everyday. All of my free time has been taken up trying to close a rather large sale for i/o Computers. It’s been hot and humid again so that makes doing anything outside just plain old nasty. I wish I could say that there was a bright spot in my week, but so far, everything is being illuminated in the same ugly shade of grey.

On a semi-less negative note, we did have something funny happen last night. We were sitting on the couch watching a movie on a well deserved movire night, when I see Lola tring to catch a flying around the kitchen table. This is totally normal around here, and actually quite entertaining at times. Then I happened to catch a shadow out of the corder of my eye…and it was bigger then a fly. I looked into the kitchen again, and there she was trying to catch a bat. Now, for those of you who don’t know it, bats and I are no stangers. For several years in my parent’s house, we had a few hundred bats living in our attic that would go out every night and come home every dawn. And every once and a while, a few would make their way into the house. To make a long story short, the bat was captured in a Batman beach towel (love the irony there!), and released outside with no injury or fanfaire.

When I look back and read this post, I suddenly realize that having a bat in the kitchen last night was the most exciting thing to happen to me in the past 10 days. So sad…
