Yes, we g33ks are going to go see Spider-Man 2 this evening. What was supposed to be a small group has now grown to about 9+ people. Even though the movie looks kick ass, I’m not really excited about it. Sure, I’m, sure I’ll have a great time and all, but I’m not much of a Spier-Man guy. In fact, if it wasn’t for Famke Janssen being in the X-Men movies, I’m not sure I would watch them as much as I do. In truth, I really don’t care for the Marvel universe. I’m a DC man myself. More to the point, a rather large Batman fan. But, we’ll go see it for the kiddies…and to see if Bruce Campbell has another cameo!!

Firefox 0.9.1
The newest version of Mozilla Firefox has been released today. I can honestly say that this is the first software since the original days of Napster, and I get excited about when I come home and see that there’s a new version available. And yes, I know that this is truly sad…

Gmail, Yo!
Being the g33ks that we are, JP and I have scored ourselves a pair of Gmail invites. I’m glad we did since I really wanted to grab “Twev1701″ before the initial public release. Why you ask? Well, it’s been my online ID since 1994, and even though I realize I’m probably the only person who uses said ID, losing my domain this year (twev1701.com [see rants here and here] ) really made me think twice about not scoffing up every “twev1701″ username out there. So, needless to say twev1701@gmail.com now belongs to me!

So Totally Unlike Us
JP and I did something tonight that was totally out of character, yet totally fun, and so what we both needed. We actually went out on a Fridat night. No, we didn’t go out Wardiving as we normally would have, but we went out out. Like out and had a few drinks out. Like hung out at a bar and checked out the honeys out. Yes…out out. What would mama think?

)( Exploits
We had a great time wardriving last night. Even though some of our favorite “hot spots” were gone due to college kids going home for the summer, we did find two very nice spots with a kick ass connection. We even got to play a bit with a Microsoft router, something neither of us have had any experiences with, but are oddly shocked by how much info it is willing to give you without much prodding. We will hopefully be going back out tomorrow night at the midnight hour, but we’ll have to see how dead tired we both are from work.
Other then that, I have to close the next 3 nights which totally blows. But, I do get to have Monday off, my firsy day off after working 7 straight days! Aren’t I lucky??

Well, it looks as if JP and I are finally going to get the chance to go out Wardriving tomorrow night. I honestly can’t remember the last time we went, but I clearly remember it being sometime in January. I’m not sure what time we’ll be heading out, but most likely under the cover of darkness. We thought it was lame going out at night because the LCD from the laptop really lights up the car, but then we went when it was light out once and the sun totally bleaches out the screen, making it totally useless. So, it look like after my Soul Calibur (original Dreamcast version baby!) rematch with Laura tomorrow night, we’ll be off in search of packets!! w00t!
