Well That Answers That
And here I was worrying about not getting any sleep. After I wrote my last post, I was asleep in about 15 minutes after posting it, and didn’t wake up until about 5:20pm. Yep, no worries about not getting sleep this week for me!!
Ah crap!!! I have to go back and do this all over again in about an hour and a half. Crap!!!

A Problem of A Different Nature
Ok, I just got home a about 25 minutes ago from my first night of working overnight. Now, I did have a little trouble around the 2:30am or so area, but I muddled through it. Now, the problem is that I am wide awake and I’m not too sure if I can get myself to fall asleep. If it’s not one things it’s another, eh?

Only I Would Find This Funny
For those who know me well, I am somewhat of a night owl. To say that I love to stay up late and sleep late is an understatement.
Then, I started getting a nice semi-regular schedule at work, occupying the 6am-3pm shift for the past month. Now, with this stupid freakin’ overnight shit I have to do starting tomorrow night, I just can’t seem to stay up late enough to allow myself to sleep during the day. I actually had to force myself to stay up until 11:30 on Friday night, 2am last night, and I’m trying to stay up until 7am tonight. To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure if I’m going to make it. There’s a lot I could be doing, but I’m just too tired to do any of it. But, I can’t really allow myself to fall asleep yet because if I do, I’ll wake up around 11am or so, and then won’t be able to sleep during the day, and when 3am comes tomorrow and I still have5 hours of work ahead of me, I’m totally screwed.
Yeah, this is sooo much fun!
Oh, the new wallpaper is up. Enjoy!

Just Freakin’ Great!
Well, it seems as though just when I thought my life might get back to normal, I get screwed with again! Apparently, I was volunteered (a.k.a. told) to work overnight shifts this coming week at work. Now, we just changed my schedule about 2 weeks ago to all open shifts – 6am-3pm – and I had finally gotten used to getting up around 5:20am. Now, this is where it get funky. See, the overnight shifts are to start Sunday night and go through Thursday. This is great, except for the fact that I have plans all day Sunday. So when I was basically told I had to work this shift, I made it abundantly clear that I would not be there on Sunday because I already had plans. My store manager said that would be fine but I would loose out on a day of pay. Already pissed at my sudden shift change, this just made me even more pissed. Then my department manager came up with a damned if you do, damned if you don’t solution. In stead of working the normal 9pm-6am that the rest of the overnight crew is working, just stay an extra 2 hours and that way I’ll have made up my lost 8 hours from Sunday. This is great on the $$ side, but not so great on the sleep side. So, starting on Monday evening, I will be working from 9pm-8am. Then, and I know you’ll just love this, I’ll get out of work at 8am on Friday, go home and sleep, and then I have to be back there for my normal shift (our weork weeks run Sat-Fri) at 6am on Saturday. So basically I have to reverse my internal clock on Monday, only to go back and reverse it again on Friday night. Yeah, I’m going to be in a real peachy mood all week!

Arise From The Ashes Like The Mighty Phoenix!
Ok, maybe that’s a little over the top? Either way, I have finally gotten a few free minutes (a.k.a. hours) to start working on my poor neglected personal website.
So far I have reuploaded the Random Thought generator, and installed a brand new newpost system to replace the slightly out-of-date NewsPro. Don’t get me wrong, NewsPro is still a great little program, but after working with Coranto briefly on my black design, I must say that I don’t think I can go back to NewsPro.
I’ve also started to fix some of the links on some of the pages to refelct some of the new features that are to come. Keep in mind though, that some of them may not be working for a bit. There’s a lot to change in this site!
And last but certaintly not least…the triumphant return of Twev’s Weekly Wallpaper!!! Enjoy!
